Who we are

OnlyThis LLC, a company in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, makes OnlyThis. For privacy questions, OnlyThis LLC is responsible for the personal data described here. Email [email protected].

The app

OnlyThis runs on your computer. It has no telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting, no update check, and no account. It has no networking code. It cannot send data anywhere, because nothing in the app can make a network request.

Settings and the license key stay in files on your PC, under Local AppData. Picked windows are not saved. There is no history of what you worked on. A diagnostic log may also be written there. None of those files leave the machine.

To draw the picker, OnlyThis asks Windows for open windows, titles, and icons, the same information Alt-Tab uses. That list is shown, then discarded.

If you mute notification banners, it writes the same per-user Windows setting that Settings uses, and puts the previous value back when you close the app normally.

OnlyThis is a single executable. It installs nothing, registers no service, and adds no startup entry unless you make a shortcut yourself.

When you buy

Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, the merchant of record. Paddle collects what the order needs, such as your name, email, billing address, and payment details. We never see or store your full card number. Paddle handles that data under its own privacy policy.

What we keep

To email your license key, and to resend it if you lose it, we store:

• your name
• your email address
• your Paddle transaction id
• the license key issued to you

We use this only to deliver and resend keys, and to answer support and refund mail. We keep it for as long as your license exists so we can resend the key, unless you ask us to delete it. We may keep a record of the purchase for as long as tax rules require.

If you email us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply.

Who else handles it

Paddle processes payment, tax, invoices, and refunds. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We do not send marketing email.

This website

getonlythis.com does not use analytics and does not set tracking cookies. The host that serves the site may keep ordinary server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to run and protect the site. This site is separate from the app. It does not require sign-in.

Legal basis, if you are in the EU or UK

We process purchase and license data because we need it to deliver your license, and to meet legal duties such as tax records. We process support email because we have a legitimate interest in answering you.

Transfers

We are in the United States. Paddle and the site host may process data in the US and other countries. Where the law requires it, they use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and California privacy law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or limit how it is used. Email [email protected]. We will answer within 30 days. If we delete the record, we may not be able to resend a lost key. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. For data Paddle holds about the purchase, you can contact Paddle directly.

Children

OnlyThis is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Security

We keep as little as we can, and we use Paddle for payment data. No system is perfectly secure.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If we start collecting a new kind of data, we will update this policy first.
